SmakNews 2.0 Now Launched!

Counting Down To 2.0

Forgive us for the long gap in updating this beloved blog… we’ve been keeping busy (tremendously busy!) with some exciting plans that we’ll soon be rolling out shortly for our “2.0 Release.”

Since last we met you here, we were basically raving about our first month’s achievements. We couldn’t be more blessed with such a successful Beta release — because everything we mentioned there has now only doubled within the 2nd month.

The Magic Number

2.0 ushers in twice the stats — 20K + followers on Twitter and more than double the visitors count and page views from our first month — but enough mention of numbers. We know we don’t have to tell you how our Google ranking proved Smak’s infantile stage is ready to blossom into something stronger than ever–we just have to show it.

And We Will Show It

Soon to unveil a new look, (on 06/17/09) look out for some hot-to-click-on design features that will have you question, hmm… who is this new designer you have on here? And where can I find him?

Plus, we are also proud to feature some brilliant partnerships with fellow female-friendly blogs– some you’ve heard of, some you already talked a lot of smak on, and some, you’ll only grow to love more! We’ll keep mums on the smak word on who our fabulous new partnerships are for the moment, but you can be sure there’ll be many sides of SmakNews.com that you’ll just love exploring.
